What is a laboratory-grown diamond?
A diamond grown above ground rather than mined. It has the same chemistry, hardness and optical properties as a mined diamond. Ours come with an IGI grading report.
Is moissanite a diamond?
No. Moissanite is a gemstone of its own, made of silicon carbide. It is very hard, very bright and costs far less than diamond. We always name it as moissanite, never as a diamond.
Are laboratory-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They are the same carbon crystal as a mined diamond, grown above ground, with the same hardness and fire. Each of ours carries an IGI grading report.
What does “plated” mean?
A plated piece is sterling silver (925) with a fine layer of gold or rose gold on the surface; our silver pieces are polished to a bright, lasting shine. It is not solid gold, and we always say which finish a piece has.
What do the sizes in a listing mean?
For chains and bracelets, the width in millimetres is the size of each stone and the length is in inches. For rings it is the US ring size. Each size and finish is priced on its own.
What does “indicative price” mean?
It is the price we expect at launch, worked out from what the piece costs to make and deliver today. It can change before launch; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
What metals do you use?
Sterling silver (925), polished to a bright shine or plated in gold or rose gold, and solid 9, 14 and 18 carat gold for the laboratory-grown diamond studs. Plating is a fine layer over sterling silver, not solid gold.
Are your pieces hallmarked?
UK law requires a hallmark on sterling silver from 7.78 g and gold from 1 g. Pieces above those weights will be sold in the UK only once hallmarked by a UK assay office.
Where do you deliver?
To the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States, insured and tracked.
Will I pay anything on delivery?
Prices include UK VAT and any import duty. Pieces that need a UK hallmark (sterling silver from 7.78 g, gold from 1 g) are offered in the UK only once hallmarked by a UK assay office.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return an unworn piece in its original packaging. You have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), on top of our 30-day returns.
